Sports Union is a website, that focuses on in-depth feature stories on high school, college, and professional athletes. Sports Union is celebrating it’s seventh year.

Matthew Ondesko has a background in newspapers and featuring writing. He was the managing editor for six years of Metro Group Inc., a weekly newspaper in Buffalo NY. During his time at the paper, Ondesko won three-straight best feature writing awards from the American Community Free Newspapers.

He has covered numerous Army/Navy football games, along with Army/Notre Dame at Yankee Stadium and numerous college lacrosse tournament games. He has interviewed such athletes like Joe Montana, Ana Ivanovic and Heisman Trophy winners from both Notre Dame and Army.

Geoff Schneider has been with the company since it started seven years ago. Schneider is a graphic artist and photographer. You will see Schneider out taking photos for the website - and also at games. He also designs all the ads, and the website. Schneider also shoots for Nardin Academy and Daemen University, among others.

Jeffery Barnes does special assignments for the website. Barnes is an award-winning photographer - and can be seen shooting the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres and Toronto Blue Jays for the Associated Press.

Amanda Burns is the owner off Amanda Burns Media. Burns is a new addition to the staff - and you will see her out shooting videos for the website during the season. Burns also has produced commercials for Sports Union as well. You can go to www.amandaburnsmedia.com to check out some of her work.
